Speech Language Pathologist
Full-time/Part-time Position
Compensation: $126-$144/hour for billable time. Compensation percentages between 70%-75%, with incentives for up to 80%
Hours: Flexible scheduling for Monday to Friday. Preference will be given to candidates with weekend availability
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team of Speech-Language Pathologists. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, social communication, and fluency.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals and needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy through individual sessions, tailoring approaches for optimal results.
- Regularly document and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in the field to enhance clinical practice.
- Collaborate with other (related) healthcare professionals, educators, and parents to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Registration and in good standing with CASLPO (The College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists)
- Previous experience in a clinical or private practice setting is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with patients and their families.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective therapy delivery and documentation.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- Access to a vehicle is not required to work at the clinic but may be required if you choose to work at other sites.
- Previous clinical experience with various exceptionalities is an asset (e.g., Autism)
- The successful applicant will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

- TalkTools: Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) for Speech Clarity and Feeding
